Welcome the Maverick R 3" Mid Pipe from RPM, a beautifully polished, 304 stainless steel, & fully tig welded piece of art that frees up the maximum amount of power from your turbo Maverick R. This 3" Mid Pipe performs as well as it looks! With the factory turbo being a 3" flange, and the factory mid pipe reducing to 2.5" and the exhaust flow later reducing to 2" in the muffler, RPM let the Maverick R breathe freely by creating this full 3" mid pipe that doesn't only bolt to the stock muffler, but EVERY Maverick R muffler that RPM offers as well. Removing this bottle neck at the turbo frees up back pressure from the turbines exhaust wheel reducing unneeded back pressure and reduces heat build up. This allows for future upgrades to be painless & NO extra components later needed. This full 3", free flowing design is achieved by utilizing a proprietary 3" I.D. graphite ball end gasket that uses the OEM curvature and sealant allowing it to directly replace the factory 2.5" mid pipe and mount to the factory muffler, any muffler that uses the same factory locations, or any RPM SxS Maverick R Mufflers. This means if you have any muffler that uses the factory mid pipe, the RPM 3" mid pipe will work with it as well. Keeping the performance guys in mind we added a 2nd O2 bung in a discrete yet easy to access location for those who will be running data loggers or secondary O2 bungs. This 2nd O2 bung includes a low profile cap for those not utilizing it and does NOT interfere with the use of the OEM heat shields. OEM heat shields CAN be used, RPM also offers a Maverick R Heat Blanket specific to all RPM Maverick R Mid Pipes.
